Description

APTC Proflex Fire AC is a single component fire rated intumescent acrylic sealant designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through walls and floors. Fire rated to 4 hours, the non sag formulation is suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications with excellent adhesion to precast concrete, plasterboard, blockwork, masonry and aerated concrete 

APTC Proflex Fire AC is capable of ±20% joint movement and is acoustically rated for interior applications 

Areas of Use: 

  • Construction joints—concrete walls and floors, plasterboard walls, masonry
  • Sealing of service penetrations (pipes, cables, ducts)
  • Perimeter sealing of interior door and window framing
  • Interior applications requiring acoustic properties

Suitable substrates: concrete, masonry, plasterboard, metal, wood
