Description

APTC Proflex Fire AC is a single component fire rated intumescent acrylic sealant designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through walls and floors. Fire rated to 4 hours, the non sag formulation is suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications with excellent adhesion to plasterboard, masonry and Hebel.

APTC Proflex Fire AC is capable of ±25% joint movement and is acoustically rated for interior applications 

Areas of Use: 

  • Construction joints—concrete walls and floors, plasterboard walls, masonry
  • Sealing of service penetrations (pipes, cables, ducts)
  • Perimeter sealing of interior door and window framing
  • Interior applications requiring acoustic properties

Suitable substrates: concrete, masonry, plasterboard, metal, wood
